What is Bowen Therapy?

Bowen Therapy is a gentle therapy that is applied to areas of the body, by using thumbs and fingers in a specific order. Bowen moves are a rolling-type move of the thumbs and forefingers, designed to stimulate nerve pathways.

Bowen Therapy assists with many conditions, such as:

  • Back Pain & Sciatica
  • Neck and shoulder pain
  • Migraines and other type of headaches
  • Digestion and bowel problems
  • Hip, knee, ankle and foot problems
  • Respiratory, hay fever, earache
  • Sports and other traumatic injuries
  • RSI, carpal tunnel syndrome and tennis elbow

Our business

Bowen by the Bay is a sole-trader business operating in Russell Lea.

To determine treatment, all patients require an initial assessment of their condition. Patients often begin experiencing pain relief and other benefits after 3-4 sessions.
